Republican leaders demand Lutnick halt crypto PAC's political spending in Texas
Odaily reported that senior Republican officials recently called US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, requesting his intervention regarding the Fellowship PAC, a crypto political action committee supported by his former company Cantor Fitzgerald, and its related spending plans in Texas. This PAC previously disclosed in FEC filings its plan to spend $1.75 million in support of Ken Paxton, causing concerns within the party about interference in a sensitive primary. According to sources, the PAC ultimately did not run the related ads, and Republicans later stated that these concerns had been alleviated. Fellowship PAC is associated with Tether and previously announced plans to raise $100 million for the 2026 election, having already raised about $11 million. (Axios)

Aave is coordinating the establishment of “DeFi United” for fund recovery, with multiple parties having already provided about 13,500 ETH in support, including 2,500 stETH from Lido, 5,000 ETH from ether.fi, 5,000 ETH from Aave founder Stani Kulechov, and 1,000 ETH from Golem Foundation.
