Macquarie: Tighter petroleum product supply may worsenMacquarie pointed out that given the difficulties refineries face in obtaining crude oil supplies, the global oil products market may experience even more severe supply shortages. In a report published on April 9 by the analyst team led by Vikas Dwivedi, it stated: "If the conflict continues, restricted crude oil supply will cause refinery operating rates to decline, and the supply gap for oil products may further widen." Globally, a total capacity of 3.367 million barrels per day was shut down in late March due to the conflict.
