Aave CEO: Clarity Act will provide crucial legal protection for DeFi developers
According to ChainCatcher, Aave CEO Stani posted on social media that the latest U.S. market structure bill draft has been released. This bill can provide strong legal protection for U.S. DeFi developers, allowing them to confidently build and maintain decentralized protocols in the country without being forced to assume burdensome obligations suited only to centralized models. If the United States successfully establishes this framework, other regions around the world will follow. Stani emphasized that regulatory clarity is more important for DeFi than gains. The passage of the Clarity Act is expected to give DeFi a significant tailwind, similar to how the Genius Act benefited stablecoins.

Nebius soared more than 15%, as spending in the AI sector surged, bringing Q1 revenue up 684% year-on-year to $399 million, surpassing expectations. The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index rose over 2% as semiconductor stocks rebounded; Micron Technology gained over 5%, Globalfoundries rose more than 3%, Texas Instruments and Arm surged over 2%, and Intel climbed over 1%.
