BlackRock Optimistic About Investment Opportunities in Venezuela
On May 12, BlackRock CEO Larry Fink expressed optimism about investing in Venezuela, stating, "In fact, I hold a rather optimistic view on the opportunities for investment in Venezuela." Fink made these remarks during a panel discussion in New York, noting that this oil-rich country is expected to return to its "former glory." He added, "We are beginning to see more hope in the region," and highlighted that the surge in demand for artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure could benefit economies rich in solar and hydrocarbon resources. "The pace of demand growth is outstripping supply, which could present a thriving opportunity for Brazil and many other countries."
