GLONGHUI April 15｜Microsoft (MSFT.US) rose 2.6% to $403.35. On the news front, Microsoft has agreed to lease capacity at a data center in Norway, a project originally planned for OpenAI’s use. Cloud infrastructure provider Nscale stated in a release that Microsoft will lease 30,000 Nvidia Vera Rubin chips in its facility located in Narvik, Norway, within the Arctic Circle. This is a further expansion on top of Microsoft’s previous commitment to invest $6.2 billion at the same location. In addition, Microsoft has raised the prices of its Surface Laptop and Surface Pro across its entire US official website. The entry price for flagship models Surface Pro 11 and Surface Laptop 7 has increased from $999 to $1,499, a jump of up to 50%. The price hike covers the entire Surface product line and takes effect immediately, with other retailers expected to follow suit.
