Anthropic is planning to invest $200 billion in Google, representing over 40% of the tech giant's disclosed "revenue backlog."
According to Dynasty Beating monitoring, when Google announced last month that it would provide up to 5 gigawatts of server capacity to Anthropic, the two parties did not disclose the specific amount of this commitment. However, according to a source familiar with the matter, as part of the agreement set to begin next year, Anthropic plans to pay Google approximately $200 billion over the next five years. This commitment implies that Anthropic accounts for over 40% of the "revenue backlog" total amount disclosed by Google to investors last week.
